Vallabh Government College Mandi has well established laboratory facilities for science students.All the labs are well equipped with latest instrumentation facilities to enable the students learning by doing.
In addition to labs, there are two museums in Zoology department. There is various skeleton (Camel, Monkey, Lamb, Cub, Goat, Calf, Tiger, Ox, Horse, Human, Rabbit, Fish, Tortoise,Fox,Cat) and model (Frog,Types of sponge,Ascaris male and female, Insect boxes,Echinoderms,Clay models of Arthropods, Corals, silk worms, Tape worms, Varanus, Cockroaches, Rabbit). And chart of various animals in the museum.
All the specimens of animal diversity including invertebrates and vertebrates are placed in the museum. In invertebrates from Porifera phylum to Echinodermata and Lower chordates including cephalaochordates, Hemichordates Urochordata are placed. In vertebrates from Fishes to mammalian all the representative animals are in the form of specimens.
